Join the Halloween Garden Harvest on Oct. 30

Scared of getting your hands dirty? We’re not!

Join us at Pioneer Garden just east of the Pioneer Theater for the fifth annual Edible Campus Gardens Fall Harvest from 2 pm to 6 pm on the night before All Hallows’ Eve (aka, Oct. 30). There will be the planting of frighteningly delicious garlic, as well as the filling of treat baskets with what remains of the harvest season bounty. Don’t worry—with all those garlic bulbs around, Dracula is sure to be far away.

Why should you come? El Sillero, the cafe in the Sorenson Molecular Biotechnology Building—where mad scientists go to have fun—will be providing tasty treats to be devoured, guzzled, and gulped. Wing & Claw will rattle you to the bone with live music and deadly beats and killer jams. Lastly, a costume contest is sure to bring out the Wolfcarrots, Frankensquashes, Psychopeppers, Bloody Beets, and other terrifyingly creative costumes. Costumes will be judged and prizes awarded to the most ghoulish and ghastly.

If you miss this party, it is sure to haunt you in the night. Join us.
