Creativity abounds when you take something used and create something new. Check out this hanging light set up created by Conor, the husband of the U of U senior research analyst for Facilities Management. He took whiskey bottles, and the boxes they came in, to create a personalized, inexpensive hanging lamp that even uses LED lights for energy conservation. Similar designs for single pendant lamps from a recycled bottle sell for $80-$120 on Etsy.
